Annette Eldridge (Cellist/DJ)
ARTIST BIO
After studying cello at the Conservatorium of Music, Melbourne and travelling to Italy to study with violinist Davide Monti and cellist Gaetano Nasillo, Annette burst onto the music scene, playing to large audiences at festivals including Tamworth Country Music Festival, The National Folk Festival and Woodford Folk Festival.
Annette has recently focused on her own compositions and enjoys melding classical cello together with electronic music and contemporary sounds; creating a modern approach to a ‘classical’ instrument. She also specialises in making special song arrangements for private events which incorporate strings and DJ style electronic music.
Annette regularly performs as a soloist and with a multitude of ensembles. Annette has performed for a variety of clients and events including Google, Melbourne Fashion Festival, Susan Sarandon, Dulux, NICA, The University of Melbourne, Crown Towers, parliamentary members, The Hub, Mai Captial, Movie launches, Shipping and Basketball Award nights.
